Finally a Post!

This is still an older picture...but it's newer than last year. We went to the Grand Canyon with my family the beginning of September which was so much fun. This is the North Rim which is about 1 and 45 minutes or so away from us. It's nice to live in a place that has so many National Parks around to visit.

New Years at the Shelley's

We are currently in Highland Utah with John's folks and we forgot our camera. We are using Kaye's camera and putting them on our blog instead. I will post more as we take them.

Since John and I don't get much snow in St. George, we decided to play in the plentiful snow in Highland. I have always wanted to build an igloo, or as John calls it "a survival mound" so we did. So here's John in his "survival mound. He let our niece and nephew along with the neighborhood kids play in it too.

Okay so I have put some before and after pictures of a few of our worst rooms in the house. We are almost done with the inside. It's amazing what some new paint, chair railing, and new base board will do to a house. We are starting to hang some pictures, and I need to get some new rugs, but it's coming together.

House Progress

Here are some work in progress pics of our house. We have almost all of the painting down now, we are putting up chair railing tonight, so it's slowly coming together. I'll post more later.

We are back from DIsneyWorld and it was a great vacation. Disney really knows how to do a care free trip. We had a wondeful time and I would reccommend it to anyone. Here's some pics...there are way too many to post.

New House

This is our new house at 1035 Hemlock in Bloomington Hills. It needs some TLC, but we will be posting before and after pics of it. I didn't take pics of all the bedrooms, cuz they just look like bedrooms..but there are 4 bedrooms. I'll post pictures of the backyard on a different post. So we are pretty excited, we are going to Disneyworld on Sunday night, so we will be moving most of our stuff when we get back. We are going to be doing a lot of work on it to bring it up to it's glory days again, give it a little face lift, so we'll keep you posted.

3 Years and Counting

Well, John and I are getting ready to celebrate are 3 anniversary. We are celebrating it big this year by going to Disneyworld. Also, we bought a house in Bloomington Hills that we will be moving into this Thursday. I'll be posting pics of it. So September will be a busy month. We leave for Disneyworld this Sunday the 14th, and we'll have two days to move into our new house. Hopefully we will miss hurricane Josephine, or she will peter out before it turns into anything. So I'll be having lots of pictures coming soon, of the house and Disneyworld. Happy 3 years to us.
