New Years at the Shelley's

We are currently in Highland Utah with John's folks and we forgot our camera. We are using Kaye's camera and putting them on our blog instead. I will post more as we take them.

Since John and I don't get much snow in St. George, we decided to play in the plentiful snow in Highland. I have always wanted to build an igloo, or as John calls it "a survival mound" so we did. So here's John in his "survival mound. He let our niece and nephew along with the neighborhood kids play in it too.

Kiley! I didn't know you guys didn't have TV! But I can understand that. We barely get any channels....it's like not having any!
Gosh, time flies since the last time we talked and I said that we were going to come visit and see your new house and crochet!!!!! We still need to do that! I'll call you and make plans! Also, if you ever want to just come here (since I still don't have transportation) you are welcome anytime!!!!

What a fun thing to make! I bought Brady a little snow jacket with hopes of getting to one of the snowboard summits but...didn't happen...he got to use it for the rain! ha ha

I love the "survival mound"...so fun!
